About Your Hosts
Welcome to our piece of paradise in Te Puru!

This is special place, blessed with all of the joys of nature. We love the beautiful sea views from here, with the water's ever-changing moods from sparking diamonds to raging waves, as well as the dramatic sunsets across the Firth of Thames.

We've been lucky enough to call La Casa Te Puru home for the last decade. Since then we've worked had to get the property ship-shape. Christine is a keen gardener has developed the park-like gardens to enhance the incredible views, as well as to attract native birds. Drew's background as a builder mean he's renovated the rooms one by one, ready for guests to enjoy.
Let us know if you need help with ideas or bookings for your visit! Thames is less than 15 minutes drive away, and the rest of the Coromandel is in striking distance. Sharing our knowledge with guests about where to go and what to see is one of our favourite things about hosting. We to love chat with guests the history of our lodge and the area. That includes the local Maori history, such as Te Aputa pa, a former Maori village or fortress, which our property overlooks.

It is our pleasure and privilege to host guests here. Please do get in touch if you have any questions, or go ahead to book your stay!
