The Waterworks

When to visit: Open 7 days. In the summer from 9am to 6pm, and in the winter from 10am to 4pm.

Coromandel Town
Cathedral Cove
Description: Cathedral Cove is a gigantic arch cavern located near Hot Water Beach on the east coast of Coromandel Peninsula. There is a 40 min walk to Cathedral Cove.

Driving Creek Railway
Description: A trip on this mountain railway is a fun way to see more of Coromandel nature, as well as some spectacular views.

When to visit: Runs daily from 10.15am to 2pm. The train ride takes 1 hour. Bookings essential over peak holiday time.
Description: Do not hesitate to make a detour to Coromandel Town. A gold mining boom town for 34 years from 1868, discover some of the surviving buildings from this time period.
